  NOTE:  27/02/2013.  Tests carried out by Corangamite Shire this week confirm the presence of several varieties of Blue-Green Algae in very high numbers in Deep Lake. All though these varieties are not toxic they do present a danger as they are in such high volumes so please avoid contact with the water while the warning signs are up around the lake's foreshore.
